1951 Triumph 6T Thunderbird - Bonneville Salt flats 'Land Speed Racer'. AMA National Record Holder, Class: 650 M-VG. At Bonneville 2008 International Speed Trials by BUB. Also competed in 1995. Long time ownership, comes with engineers notes & dating certificate. A historic competitive bike on the button starts easily & sounds fantastic on the inverted megga's. Two engines, the actual record breaker engine, & spare engine, both freshly prepared ready for next time out. Both lightened, balanced, 11.5 pistons, tapered skirts, crankcases worked for hot cams, Carillo rods, Morgo oil pump etc. Plus kit of other engine options, including two special twin carb iron heads, plus a Tricor type aluminium twin carb head with welded inlets, various cams, pistons, oil pumps, plus a braked front alloy wheel & tyre with ancillaries. I have owned this lovely original tractor for 23 years, (one school owner before me). Only used for grass cutting in my orchard/garden. Comes with a workshop manual on CD. 1940 BSA WM20 500cc Military motorcycle for sale. Excellent example. Originally delivered to Chilwell - contract C7287. Rebuilt in the army, with engine & spec from '43 (contract S2603), has WD markings for rebuild. Left the army quite late in the 1960's. Civilian restored approx 5 years ago, included mechanics, new rewire, cables, tyres etc. Comes with spare opaque flat headlamp glass. Runs & rides really well. 1942 Royal Enfield WD/CO/B 350cc ohv Original bike. Good engine, gearbox, clutch, & brakes. Runs & rides well with lots of power. The petrol tank is good inside, the tin work & frame are solid. Just fitted a new (Armours) down pipe, & a chain guard section. Only 3,000 made of this WD/CO/B version with the stronger Buman gearbox. Correct frame, engine, gearbox & contract numbers, piled arms also stamped on the engine.
